The Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) wants new Inspectors




The Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) wants new Inspectors to join its safety team in the GTA Area and across Ontario, including Ottawa, Sudbury and South Eastern Ontario.

ESA is looking for motivated individuals with an Electrician’s Construction and Maintenance Licence (309A), and at least 7 years of varied experience as a Journeyperson Electrician. You have sound knowledge of electrical theory, a background in customer service, knowledge of Windows, MS Office programs and e-mail, and a valid driver’s licence. As an electrical inspector, you are driven to positively impact electrical safety. You are responsible for inspecting electrical installations from start to finish, including: examining electrical drawings and inspecting installations to ensure electrical code compliance; advising customers; creating and maintaining inspection records; and investigating and reporting on electrical fires and accidents.
